Tripp,
Are you aware of the American Society of IRS Problem Solvers? We are a non-profit professional organization of CPAs, Attorneys, and Enrolled Agents dedicated to offering educational seminars and fostering relationships among tax resolution practitioners throuhout the US. If you have any interest, visit our web site at astps.org. We also publish a newsletter for our members and welcome articles by members. I came across your site and think our organization would be of interest.
We also offer a certification program. Upon successful completion of the (at-home, open-book) examination, documentation of experience in tax problem resolution, and documentation of educational background a practitioner is awarded the Certified Tax Resolution Specialist designation.
Side note: We do not accept membership from large resolution mills like those that have recently been fined for abusive advertising and abusive business practices.
Regards,
Larry Lawler
